WHMIS Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
Participants will receive instruction on the 6 classes of WHMIS products and 8 symbols, supplier labels, workplace labels and how to read/use a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Participants will also receive instruction on recommended controls when using WHMIS products commonly found in most workplaces. Review requirement annually. This course can be used as a review.
Duration: 4 hours

WHMIS Recertification
Participants will receive instruction on the 6 classes of WHMIS products and 8 symbols, supplier labels, workplace labels and how to read/use a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Participants will also receive instruction on recommended controls when using WHMIS products commonly found in most workplaces. This is a shortened version of our full WHMIS course and participants must have completed a full WHMIS course to attend.

TDG Transportation of Dangerous Goods
This certification course will provide the participants with instruction on placarding/labeling requirements, appropriate packaging, spill reporting, exemptions and proper shipping document requirements for Dangerous Goods shipped by road or rail. Re-training is required every 3 years.

Blood borne Pathogens Awareness
Participants will learn about the various types of blood borne illnesses as well as the routes of exposure. Participants will be instructed on the precautions to be taken to prevent exposure, basic decontamination and clean up of minor occurrence.
